Amira & Rooji are back with their annual collaboration and this year we’re in the Yorkshire Dales!

Amira will be leading a day hike and Rooji will be spoiling you with homemade bakes and chai!

Eid Celebrations

If you’re looking to meet like minded muslimahs, feeling stressed, burnt out, or disconnected from your spiritual self. Looking to disconnect from the world so you can connect back to yourself & after some time then Escape the chaos of daily life and escape to the Dales for the day. Amira the wanderlust and Rooji the Foodie have teamed up to bring you guys an event not to be missed!

Join us in Malham for a day time hike and a Mindfulness Meditation in the mountains with Amira followed by a delicious tea time with bakes by Rooji.

Through guided meditation and mindfulness practices, Amira will deliver her mindfulness in the mountains workshop where you'll learn to release negative emotions, cultivate gratitude, and tap into your inner wisdom.

The hike is designed to create an opening deep within for you to connect with your surroundings, whilst actively doing ibadah-combining intentions. Our aim is to support you to gain a stronger connection to your fitra as a Muslim woman.

Hike information

  • Malham Landscape Trail
  • A classic Dales walk taking in Janet’s Foss and the majestic Malham Cove, and then a visit to Gordale Scar.
  • Level : Beginner
  • Miles : 3km
  • Terrain : mostly flat, some uphill
  • Bakes & Chai by Rooji the Foodie

Following a soul nourishing hike, you'll be able to warm the body with Roojis homemade Karak Chai and a selection of homemade bakes!

  • You will receive an assortment of Rooji’s bakes in your own box
  • Allergy awareness - Bakes will contain ingredients that contain dairy, eggs, gluten - some bakes may also contain soya & nuts
  • Rooji’s Desi Yorkshire Tea will be served after the hike (contains dairy)
  • Unfortunately we are unable to cater for specific dietary requirements on this occasion if you would like still to attend and bring your own snacks and bakes please inform us prior to booking
