Chocolate Ganache Cake


Think Matilda, Bruce cake, the richness and chocolatyness of this morish delicious cake is second to none! This recipe is for a 8′ x 2 layer sandwich cake, the entire cake is filled and covered in a chocolate ganache before being decorated with yet more chocolate.

It’s perfect when served at room temperature or heated enough to allow the ganache to melt into a sauce which is beautifully accompanied with lashings of either double cream or a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
