This is a conversation with you. Together, we’ll explore real, raw topics around mental health and well-being in the Muslim community. The discussion is led by the audience, shaped by your questions, stories, and reflections.

About The Lantern Initiative

The Lantern Initiative is a Muslim-run grassroots non-profit currently based across Leicester and Peterborough. Their objectives are to educate and raise awareness of mental health issues in the Muslim community, to help break down the associated stigma and to empower communities in seeking and accessing relevant support with their mental health and wellbeing. They facilitate a number of ongoing community mental health events, retreats and projects including weekly Chai & Chat drop-in sessions for women, community events focusing on Islamic Psychology and residential retreats.

This event has been thoughtfully curated, as such once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded for any reason, including but not limited to changes in plans, scheduling conflicts, or unforeseen circumstances. We encourage attendees to carefully consider their availability before making a purchase.

In the event of unexpected circumstances preventing attendance, we may offer options such as ticket transfers to another individual subject to approval. Please email info@roojithefoodie.com to discuss your ticket purchase at least 72 hours prior to attending.
